# Replacements for Plan B?

[Plan B now available](http://news.yahoo.com/fda-morning-pill-move-over-counter-214052977.html) to all females 15 years and older, over the counter.

AP: “Tuesday, the FDA lowered to 15 the age at which girls and women can buy the emergency contraceptive without a prescription — and said it no longer has to be kept behind pharmacy counters.”

I know that only women and girls should take the actual drug, but will males be able to purchase it or only women and girls?

I bought a pill once, they sell it to anyone over a certain age. It costs about $50 a pill though.

$35 at the local Planned Parenthood.
