Any of you got Replay or TiVo? Dontcha just love 'em? We got a replay set about 2 months ago, and it has _totally_ changed the way we watch TV. Y’all should go get yourselves one. ---

I have to agree… TiVO kicks major ass… (as does ReplayTV). (Is ReplayTV really free? They say no monthly fee’s, I’m thinking… probably because you pay all at once) Screeme ---

Personally, I’d much rather pay all at once than have it slowly leeched from my account over years and years. I don’t have these, but I’d love to get them. ---

If I had the money, I’d probably get one tomorrow. They seem mighty cool. And of course, my VCR picks now to die. Well, there’s another expense that puts me farther from a TiVo… ---

Yeah, there are no monthly fees for ReplayTV, but it costs a couple hundred extra up front. ---

I see the boxes for around $600.00 I never got one because Id need one for each room & you can’t put in a video. But I got a TV with Guide Plus instead, Plus is completely free, is kinda like it. ---

With Tivo, I think you can pay a couple of hundred bucks for a lifetime account rather than having it slowly drained from you over time. And doing so makes it cost about the same as Replay TV. Of course if someone ever figures out how to swap hard drives around in these things, then there will be no need for my VCR anymore. ---
