The link for reporting posts is absent for posts by yourself, but does the machinery behind it still function?
I guess after I try reporting this post, I’ll know.

My post up top has an ID of 8335818, and following a link to [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/report.php?p=8335818](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/report.php?p=8335818) seems to have worked.

Yes. I tested this a couple years ago, when this question came up. **Tuba** got my report just fine.
