)I study pathology quite simply. I am a profiler of bad guys. Call it a gift because no one ever taught it to me. What I know about the criminal mind is shocking even to me at times. The pathology of a murderer is different than the pathology of a pedophile or a rapist, and all are different than the pathology of a terrorist. To answer a previous post from another person; what is the difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter? Maybe nothing by one count but by another democracy. I know we have all heard the speeches from the hill about the spread of democracy and how it is our duty to do so when we have the opportunity. Many would agree and many would disagree. The difference between the pathology of democracy and the pathology of say for example communism, fascism, or Sharia Law is that while imperfect it gives more opportunity than it takes away. and while I personally believe that many politicians are useless lumps of coal waiting to be burned I have to believe that the pathology of democracy is not only worth fighting for but dying and even killing for. When someone comes into your home and they are armed you should defend yourself if you can. Don’t bow down to terrorism and criminal conduct. This is your freedom and your flesh and blood we are talking about. I believe in the right to bear arms and I believe in a countries right to not only defend itself but defend anyone it can from the tyranny of evil men. The Taliban, Al Queida, The uprisings all across the middle east and in Iran where they will build a nuclear weapon given the right amount of ammunition, time and leeway, there looms a fear in my heart that we won’t be able to stop what will surely be the outcome of a spineless American people who want to mind their own business. No offense directly intended to the country itself only the weak mindedness that I feel creeping up from people of popularity like Ron Paul. If it were up to him we wouldn’t help or fight anyone and in a harmonious society of the world of worlds this would be chosen far sooner than war because I know well the cost of warfare. It is a suit best played in trump rather than pitching slump. The pathology of terror is to end your life and to destroy the constitution and replace it with Sharia Law. We cannot let this happen at home or abroad either one. The freedom of religions liberties that we are granted under the first amendment aren’t inclusive to starting wars and mass homicide. This is why I have such strong feelings about state sponsored terror and those that wish America ill will. This is why if we recruit someone they should have the confidence of our word that we will back their play if things get bad for them. Enough stated for this example.

You can’t be referring to the US Army’s Special Forces or the SEALS because while people can join the US military at 17, nobody can join either organization at that age. In fact, with rare exceptions, most people have to be in the US military for several years before applying to become a Green Beret or a SEAL(I don’t know about the Airborne Rangers).
So what does “special warfare” refer to?

I am a law student or I should say pursuing a degree in law and we are not allowed to use Wikipedia as a source because of editorial reasons. Some of the links we are searching for sometimes there just isn’t one but Wikipedia seems to have a citation for everything so we wind up taking advantage of it. Just a side note.

That’s not exactly the most reliable of sources. I know for a fact there were no teenage SEALS or Green Berets in Vietnam. Please give me the name of a single 18-year-old SEAL and some documentation of this.
