Now, if we start seeing actual partisan expulsions, even knowing they’ll get back in? Then I would object. It’s a waste of everyone’s time. But I suspect we won’t, since, if you have enough votes to expels someone for political reasons, then you have enough votes to ignore them. ---

Given how much of the R party seems to be obviously mostly about grifting these days, or at least about shrieking hypocrisy, it certainly makes sense nationwide to trumpet about Santos’ totally fake schtick and then ask pointed questions about the many similarities between Santos and the local R candidate. Or the eventual national R candidate. ---
