George has released a couple of videos. One of them is addressed to “Bobby” Menendez. He advises Bobby to hang in there and don’t give in. He’s going on the Laura Loomer podcast tonight to spill some beans. ---

Fetterman has an excellent grasp of humor. From the article: "According to Menendez’s office, the senator told reporters at the Capitol on Monday of Fetterman, “I don’t think Mr. Clickbait’s donors will appreciate him using campaign funds to enrich George Santos.” And an interesting note: "Santos has sold out of available videos multiple times during his first day on the app, Galanis said, and the company has continued to increase the cap on the amount of videos he is allowed to churn out. ---

It’s annoying that Santos is getting so much attention and Cameo business, but I’m consoled by the fact that this is going to be very brief. He’s currently the flavor of the week for ironic jokes, and by next week that business will be gone. It’s humor based on the current situation, not the person. ---

After he gets out of prison, I expect Santos to chase cameras as much as he can, generating recreational outrage for the masses, but limited returns for the DeVolders. The man is small time. I’m wondering, after he’s paid his debt to society, how could Santos make a positive contribution to society, consistent with this habits and temperament? How could he make a negative contribution, given that the public is sick of the guy? While I don’t doubt there will be biopics, I suspect kickbacks from them will be limited. Best case for the US public would be if he moved back to Brazil, but somehow I doubt whether that will happen. Recall that he married a Brazilian woman when he was 24, a relationship that some suspect was a sham marriage made for immigration purposes. So he is probably a US citizen. ---

They optioned some book rights. We’ll see if the movie gets made. My opinion is that now that Santos is out, public interest in him will decline and HBO will decide not to actually make a movie. ---

I dunno, I’d tune in to watch him be humiliated on TV, somewhat like when Mr. Pillow did an interview while inside a claw machine. But seriously, I fully expect him to try a (pre-Trump) Lindell-style recovery, he’s going to go away (hopefully in the prison sense) for a few years, then he’s going to find Christ (because 'murika) and claim to be rehabilitated. And perhaps some number of people will buy it. In an ideal world, he tries, gets caught with a bunch of prostitutes of both sexes, while doing lines of coke and it all burns down around him, and he ends up drifting from town to town along with Lindell on various ever-more-skeevy local Republican/Qanon rallies until he dies alone, friendless, choked on his own vomit after passing out in a $39.99 hotel room with a bottle of the cheapest rotgut in hand. ---
