# Republican candidates compete for nomination in combat.

If the rules were announced in advance there’s a former Republican, James Webb, who could have declared differently. Once he wiped the floor with the Republican field one on one, he could easily take on the Democratic field in a five way Presidential rumble. Or does it count as a four way fight? I have a hard time seeing Chaffee do more than freeze in place like a fawn hoping nobody sees him. Once he hoists the Presidential belt someone could ask:
“Mr President, what is best in life?”
“To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their voters.”

Jindal strikes me as the kind of guy who would start blubbering as soon as someone gets near him. Then once they back away in disgust, BAM! Right in the nut sack.
