And their focus on the economy makes the Pubs look less crazy **how?**

With constructive policies such as lowering the corporate tax, reforming Medicare and Social Security, free trade rather than “9-9-9”.

I’m uncertain as to why corporations who are drowning in money require a lowering of tax.

What reform of Medicare and SS? They’re both good for 20 years, and 40 years, respectively. There’s no reason to have to act now.

Free trade. What, precisely, do you feel is not free trade?

Get rid of loopholes and reduce overall rates so that for example MSNBC’s parent company pays a flat rate comparable with other companies with the same income.

They cost hundreds of billions of dollars and those two programs along with military spending are the three things that must be reformed and cut if we are serious about reducing the deficit.

We should seek out more free trade agreements if possible.

1. Corporate income tax is at an all-time low.
2. Lowering corporate income tax is antithetical to growth. The higher it is, the more incentive there is to reinvest money into the company, rather than just keeping the cash.

Our rates are higher than Canada, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Dutch.
