Kimberly G is the worst Republican speaker so far. What were they thinking? They should have given her 5 minutes. No personality. She did say the right things for this audience, but the clapping was a bit weak. ---

Hubster was watching it earlier when I was giving him his bolus and meds. I did not know don jr had kids thus trump is a grandpa. The granddaughter spoke seemed like a cute girl. Then her father spoke, ugh. Can’t stand to listen to all the lying. I just don’t have the intestinal fortitude or the self dislike one of those two. ---

My mother, who has consistently voted Democrat, was listening to the speakers without googling their backgrounds. It’s hard work to look up each one and see their biases and backgrounds. My mother was starting to get sucked into the biers and planks of their platform. She said she thinks it may be a cover for Trump’s scheme to pardon his convictions. I was warding her away from that really hard. ---

Speaking in generalities out of state police are granted temporary police powers. This happens for things like the convention or the inauguration or disasters like Katrina when they bring in out of state law enforcement. All it should take is an executive order from the governor. ---

I still have an inkling in the back of my mind that Trump has been changed. If that was a bullet that grazed him and not plexiglass or whatever – that’s gotta do something to a person. Even Trump. I’m not suggesting he’s going to come out tonight and turn into Bernie Sanders, but there has got to be something in him that is fucked up on a different level at this point. To wit … I just posted this on Twitter, but I have like 12 actual followers, so i doubt it’ll get an action … Thought Experiment: Trump comes on stage at the convention, soaks in the applause and then immediately breaks down weeping uncontrollably and needs to be led off stage in a state of complete emotional collapse. What happens then? ---

He’s still nominated. He still runs. Theyll claim he had flu or indigestion or something. The fascist takeover freight train is lots more than trump. He’s the ceremonial locomotive at the head of the ceremonial train, but all the heavy pushing is being done by other locos discreetly mixed in amongst the passenger cars full of dignitaries and tourists. They just need his name on the ballot to let the whole evil club into the administration. ---
