Right-wing idiot blames people holding opposing views for right-wing idiot’s idiocy.
Coming up after the break: “Water wet; fire hot” say scientists.
You really are a strong candidate for stupidest Doper, D’Orange. Oh, btw, it is too bad you don’t like to celebrate that your username is that rarity poets search for, the word that rhymes with “orange.” By adopting this spelling you could also celebrate your allegiance and love for our orange-faced buffoon.
But since you don’t like D’Orange, I think I’ll just start calling you …
Unhinged.
Hahahaha. I think I’ll just start calling you asshole. It seems more appropriate than stinkopotamus. But they both suit your political styling’s. Thanks for playing.
Meanwhile, Delta’s decision not to play politics BY PLAYING POLITICS is going to cost them some $40 million in tax breaks. Keep up the good work, boycotters. hehehe.
To repeat my question: Did Delta, in your opinion, begin playing politics when it set up a special discount for NRA passengers or when it cancelled that special discount?
And now for something completely different.
Charles Koch, in an op-ed in The Washington Post, complains that there’s too much corporate influence in policy-making. Charles Koch, the guy who with his brother has bought the whole Republican House conference and about a third of the Senate’s, says this:
*When large companies can pressure politicians to force everyday Americans to fork over unearned millions, we should all question the fairness of the system. […] *
He doesn’t like Trump’s tariffs, which show, he says, that “Our entire economy is rife with cronyism.”
Uh-huh. He really, really wrote that, after the Kochs spent more than $20 million on the Republican tax scam that will net them more than $1 billion in tax cuts.
Delta’s quote refered to this as a one-time travel discount - probably on travel to one of their conventions. This type of discount can pay off for the airline, especially if the travel is on off peak dates. Because they’ll get a bunch of people taking Delta instead of another airline and the flights will be closer to full than normal.
So it’s possible that this is a discount that they offer to lots of groups without paying too much attention to who they are.
I’m sure he’s quite sincere. He undoubtedly has to pay way more to buy politicians than he would like due to all of the other corporate interests bidding against him. He would surely prefer it if he and his brother had a monopoly and candidates had to sell themselves for whatever small sums the Koch brothers felt like offering.
