(Mostly) Serious question: I know armed insurrection and revolution is scary for most people, but could we all get on board with bringing back tar-and-feathering? Relying on rational discourse and the democratic process are nice ideals, but wouldn’t some painful and humiliating assaults on those in power speed things along? Would it really turn us into a society of brutes? Can you imagine if images of Lloyd Blankfein being tarred and feathered were broadcast on CNN? The power of that image would be on the level of that Vietnamese monk who immolated himself. I hate to come off like some snotty undergrad anarchist, but that would be _soooooo_ AWESOME! ---
