Why?
I was born in 1966. My presidential votes have been as follows:
'84: Reagan (the stupidity of youth)
'88: An extremely unenthusiastic vote for Dukakis. I seriously went around and around with this vote and didn’t really decide until I was literally in the booth.
'92: Clinton
'96: Clinton (no regrets for either Clinton vote)
'00: Gore
'04: NotBush (technically Kerry but I would have voted for a bowl of ramen noodles over Bush).
Because of his actions, politics, personality, face, mannerisms, and he acts like a politician imho.
I was born in 1971, and I’ve voted in every presidential election since I turned 18.
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton, again. I never regretted either vote, though I did get awfully ticked at him for backing down on his “gays in the military” stance and on giving the Republican party ammunition by getting a blow job from an intern.
2000 - Nader. God help me. I honestly thought Gore would win, and I lived in Texas at the time, so I was throwing my vote away anyways. I was hoping the Green party might get enough in the popular election to get some of the federal campaign funding.
2004 - Kerry. I agreed with his stances, but I was never happy with how wimpy he came across. He should have torn the Swift Boaters to pieces. He should have stood up to the slandering and mud-slinging, and he should have called Bush II what he was - a war mongering dry drunk without the sense God gave a retarded fungus.
Not for 30 years, but I was a straight ticket Republican voter except for Perot ( :smack: ). All I got was a little better firearms laws. I don’t see the greater protection and individual rights benefits.
