This is off topic for the thread but yeah, this is already happening. Over my career I saw a concerted effort (too little and too slow, unfortunately, but still present) to update regulations which were clearly intended for a very white, very male status quo. Hair styles and colors, tattoos, jewelry, uniforms, and yes, shaving waivers. And one of the first things Hegseth did was rescind all of that as being “woke.” Fucker. ---

Yep, it sure is. Can’t oppress people as a group unless you have a means of identifying them. Once they properly identify all of the transgender people they’ll use these subpoenas for medical information as a precedent to pry into the health records of other people to search for other categories of people that need to be Othered, identified, and oppressed. ---

That is indeed terrifying. I’ve been growing increasingly concerned that I’m at risk of imprisonment or worse for providing gender affirming care to my son. Nobody I’ve told this to has pushed back, but it’s also clear none of them were in the same pessimistic state I’ve been in. This is just one step closer. ---

What’s the problem with that? I looked it up in my copy of the US Constitution, and it clearly states: **“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed, unless you identify as a gender you were not assigned at birth.”** Totally constitutional! ---
