However, the latter’s recent furious spate of anti-Obama threads suggest that he’s gotten a little excitable post-election and might benefit from a brief break to calm down. **OMGABC** and **Clothahump** aren’t trolls either (apart from the former’s username which is clearly a “poke the liberals” thing); they’re just so deep into their bubbles they can’t see the edge and think they’re actually on the outside of one. Consider **Clothahump** ’s contributions to his SLIOTD thread [_ETA: and the above post_] - so many of his links are to far-right “news” sites where every story is 95% editorial to 5% fact that it’s clear he’s too far gone to understand the difference between the two. **Drunky Smurf** seems to have taken over **Shodan** ’s drive-by shtick, except that **Shodan** was much better at it and was capable of making substantive and thoughtful contributions in non-political threads. Also, he (DS) seems to have gone slightly off the rails post-election, and could also probably use a time-out for his own sake. Generally I find that people who use “libtards” seriously or refer to the “lamestream media” are likely to be trolls (I haven’t investigated whether this applies to those who use “Rethuglicans” and the like, but such names don’t seem to be in wide enough usage to test comprehensively).
