# Request for cocktail recipe advice

SCIENTIST HAT ON:

This is a recipe for a frozen drink. Alcohol has a much lower freezing temperature than regular juice or ginger ale. Part of the appeal of including alcohol in a frozen drink recipe is that it won’t freeze totally solid; it will remain slushy for much longer and at lower temperatures than something that doesn’t have alcohol in it. So you _ **will** _ have to be much more careful about how long and how cold you freeze it. Otherwise, you have popsicles instead of granitas.
