Ah yes, the “It’s only illegal if you’re caught defense.” I would think someone who was a \*\*moderator \*\*would know better (and would also know how to answer a question), but clearly, I’m the one who’s mistaken when it comes to the belief that ex-moderators should adhere to the same rules they enforced.
