I think I may be one of those women. Although I would not really say I have a full blown, as-intense-as-physical-contact orgasm, I do have what I would describe as mini-orgasms, from just thoughts. They usually occur for about a week after I have had really great sex. A memory, a smell, the wind, etc. can trigger one. They usually last about 5-10 seconds, though I have had some that were longer, and pretty close to the real thing. I, too, can have orgasms from just giving oral sex and from nipple stimulation alone. Those are much stronger and are in every sense of the word real orgasms, because they do involve physical, sexual contact, just not with the clitoris or vagina, and sometimes not with my body at all. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do that. I’ll just have to keep trying, I guess… What I can do is work myself into a heightened state of arousal just by thinking nice thoughts and without touching myself in any way, and get myself to the point that the tiniest bit of physical stimulation will set me off. Dr Dean Edell has mentioned this on his radio program a number of times over the years about this subject, although he never used that term. He might have info at hand on it. Basically, orgasms thru non-genital stimulation. ---

I want to assure you before I ask this question that I’m not asking for myself, but it seems as though a significant number of women can experience this sort of thing - Shayna, Missy2U, the Scarlet Pimpernel, purplebear, psycat90, adam yax’s former girlfriend, neuro-trash grrrl (almost anyway), Atrael’s partner (female), Sassy - are there any guys out there who have a platonic/psychic orgasm? I’m not sure I count or not…I most certainly have potent orgasms in my sleep (like Cristi), stimulated by who knows what. I also don’t need to be directly stimulated to orgasm.
