**Kal** , I’m not sure I ever told you to count the words in “War and Peace,” but if that’s what you gotta do… get **Washte** to help you with it, maybe. You know, you count the words on the odd-numbered pages, and she counts the words on the even-numbered pages. Who knows if she’ll be up for it, though. F\_X ---

**Washte** won’t help me - She’s busy phoning the doctor. I can’t hear clearly, something about “You have to help me” and “He’s really cracking up this time” ::Shrug:: Anyhoodle, I have to count the words in War and Peace so I can compare your word count. One bonus is that counting the words in War and Peace is a hell of a lot more fun then _reading_ them. For _fuck_’s sake. It is **not** a race, guys. It’s bad enough we get post count parties for every 1000th post, but if we’re gonna have threads devoted to every 100th post, we might as well blow up the hamsters right now. Especially if it’s a practice for posters who’ll easily do 100 posts in, say, a day and a half. Knock it off already. ---

Well, if **Washte** won’t help you, there’s nothing to be done about it, I suppose. If she’s getting ready to commit you to the local mental institution or psych ward, though, you’d best be careful about what she hears and sees you doing. 😃 That much I figured, but I still don’t think my word count is anywhere near _War and Peace_ or any comparable lengthy books. And no, my fingers do NOT do that at all. Heck, they don’t even have to be massaged or anything. So there. Hey, they don’t even yell (in that same Scots accent): “Weel, we didna ask for it, lass!
