Is there a way to resize an animated gif image? This is my first time working with animated gif images and I’d like to resize a few that I have (shrink them down).

I have GIMP, if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Open it in GIMP, open the Image menu, select Scale Image, and pick how small you want it. This will resize every frame by the desired amount.

Then Go File -\> Save as, pick a new name for the smaller version, and save it. It will ask if you want to combine all the frames into a single layer or make it an animated gif. Pick the latter.

Thanks. I knew how to do that for a normal image but didn’t think it’d work for a gif.
