Speaking of frying things (we always do sooner or later), there was this one show on PBS (I only watch PBS because it’s educational) about hot dogs. I’m pretty sure it was called _The Hot Dog Show_. One of the places they went to had deep fried hot dogs. If I were to make New Year’s Resolutions I’d say I’d want to try a deep fried hot dog. Just one of those little cocktail hot dogs that you get at really swank parties. I mean, if it’s bad, I wouldn’t want to have to choke down a full sized fried hot dog. (But how could it _not_ be good?) And if it’s good (which it would be), I’d have the fun of deep frying a hunnert of the little things. My other New Year’s Resolution (if I made them) would be to ride in a limosine. I’ve never ridden in a limo. Ever. It’s a dark cloud that hangs over my head. But I wouldn’t have to ride in the limo this year, so it’s more a Life Goal than a Resolution. And hooooo boy is **Shibb** ’s **Boy** shy! (His other kid stinks at mazes.) I had to poke him to get him to come around. _Poke, poke, poke, poke, poke_ like that. Then he turned into a sabre toothed tiger and attacked me. I should know better. I did learn that if you’re ever attacked by a sabre toothed tiger, you should grab them around the waste and hold them upside down. It stops them from attacking you. In other news: I don’t like Guiness. There’s another kinda stout I do like, but I can’t remember what it’s called right now. I’m pretty sure there’s a vowel in the name, but I can’t remember which one. -Rue. (_poke, poke, poke, poke, poke_-y) ---

I tried to correct this a couple of times, but he does have a couple of silver crowns, plus he was born in the Year of the Tiger, so who am I to judge? ---

Unless you actually own the thing and never let anybody else use it you’re probably going to be dealing with a rental. Judging by what happened the last time I was in one, the seats are _really_ funky. ---

Now you’ve gone and done it! I hadda go look up [poutine](http://www.cs.umanitoba.ca/~gedetil/poutine.shtml) and display my igrance. :mad: Hmmph! Gravy on fries??? 😛 Don’t the fries get all soggy? I don’t like soggy fries. Everyone knows the best way to eat em is by dipping them all crispylike into some stirred up mayo and ketchup. Mmmmmmmmmmm! As for limos, Me and Mr. Anachi threw a small intimate NYE party back in the day and hired a stretch limo to pick up four couples an bring em to the house and take em back home. This was a freaky crew of people, (one of the guys dressed up like a glitzy pirate) so our neighborhood was all abuzz when they arrived at the party. It really set the mood, I tell ya. **shibb** , you don’t know how lucky you are. Lil Lestat[sup]TM[/sup] was one of those “gifted” kiddos but never had a lick of shyness. His boredom in school is what turned my hairs prematurely gray. (Well, that’s what I tell people anyways.) Probably a few of his teachers, too, no doubt. **rue** , I saw that show about the weiners too. Made me wanna go visit each of those dog places. I think frying enhances most foods (much like bacon only you can even fry desserts) and only wish it didn’t enhance my waistline, too. Just the same, I’m chicken-frying some cube steaks tonite. Mr. Anachi loves him some cube steaks but the only way I can stomach them is to chicken-fry them. Well at least I’ll be using cholesterol-free peanut oil. I hear lard just attaches itself to your arteries and makes them all sludgey like. Oh, and **P.S.** I bought the new bathroom scale last night. Same kind as I had before but THIS one says I have gained three pounds. :eek: So I threatened it with the garage door if it didn’t straighten up. 😃 Tupug The Pudge ---

They don’t get soggy, **Tupug** , they get lusciously soaked in gravy while still retaining some of their crispness. That’s it. I held off yesterday, but I’m going to have to eat poutine today. Housework List for Before Work: Clean fridge Sweep Vacuum Mop Try and get the cats off the clean towels Do the dishes CLean off the couch (more work than you’d think. Mr. Lissar moved some shelves around yesterday and all the stuff’s still on the couch) Put _all_ the books away. ---

My mom doesn’t like driving to the airport, so whenever I fly in, she sends a limo service to pick me up. When I say limo service, though, it usually means they just come in a sedan. But sometimes, all they have at the time is a stretch limo - the ones with space for 5. It’s a little funny to be driven home from the airport in a stretch. Susan ---

I’ve really only had 2 limo experiences in my life. The first wasn’t even riding in one. I was taking part in a car wash fundraiser, and toward the end of the day, this dude pulls up in his limo wanting his car washed. We washed it and all, and then before he drove away, we took a picture of all of us sitting inside it. The second was a bachelorette party. We went to a couple of different bars, and got transported in a limo. I had a lot of fun. But probably not as much fun as I could have or should have. Why’s that? This was a friend of my mom’s, which meant that mom was at the party, too. How can I schmooze with cute guys (schmooze of course meaning “dancing close, sucking face, and getting free drinks”) when my mom’s right there? ☹ ---

On a totally different note, I just want to brag about something real quick. If any of you get _Cooking Light_ magazine[sub]hi Susan![/sub] I’m quoted on page 74 of the January issue. It’s an article about asthma, and I’m the budget analyst in San Diego that they mention. It’s kind of cool seeing my name in print! 🆒 ---

Limo rides are fun. However, after reading what **Ex** wrote, I think it’d be wise to ask for a Limo that hasn’t been puked in. I considered taking ACBG to Etlanner for New Year’s since his birthday is the day after and all. I was gonna get a nice hotel room and have a Limo to drive us out to dinner and bar hopping afterwards but I didn’t. I had to cook dinner for a whole bunch of people for New Year’s. Hmmmm… Valentine’s Day is coming up. Hmmmm… a romantical weekend in Etlanner somwhere’s around Valentine’s Day. Maybe I should wait til he asks me what I want. 😃 ---
