I got up this morning and decided to self quarantine. The sneezing started last night and the coughing/sneezing/chills/snotty/congestion kicked in later. Fun. I am still online at home but not much going on at work so I am taking it easy. On the plus side tomorrow is Friday. ---

**Jynx** this is when you play your cd of the looooooooooong version of “Walkin’ On Sunshine.” 😃 Don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this but I consider “Walkin’ On Sunshine” to be one of the all time obnoxious songs evah. I talked to OYKW earlier and told him I didn’t want him around me until I get to feelin’ better. This is definitely a cold and I prefer not to share it with him. Thus, I have had chikin noodle soup and a grilled cheese sammich. Really felt good and tasted good. I have a bit of a sore throat on top of a stuffded up haid. ICK! In the not too distant future I foresee knockout night time cold medicine. ---

Home, fed, chilling. We had honey baked ham, carrots, green beans, and corn bread muffins. I’s tahred - I’m thinking it’ll be another early night. Measurers are coming on Monday to make the template for our counters, which means it will be installed the week after. So barring something completely unforeseen, I’m hosting a Fest on Jan 26! I think I am slipping in to a major depression and that sucks because I generally don’t know how to get myself out when I am depressed. I had to go the the ER on Tuesday and spend $150 copay, $875 went to rent, and $140 to tithing, and we are down to our last $100 in the bank. I couldn’t even pay day care this week. I am praying that our student loan reimbursement posts next week so we can catch up on daycare and my credit card bill. Thank goodness some kind people sent us gift cards for Christmas so I was able to get food for us for the week, but I don’t know how I am going to pay for gas. I feel sick to my stomach and I am crying all the time. I hate complaining but it is the only thing I have left that I can do. ---

Because we pay tithe we can ask for financial help from the church. It’s a self-sustaining welfare system. We have had to use it a few times. We may have to again. The State based welfare system says we aren’t poor enough, the church doesn’t care as long as you tell them you have need and you faithfully pay your full tithe as long as you are able. I still feel we are able so I can ask for help when I need to. And thankfully I have food storage, so even if I can’t buy any extra food I have canned and boxed food to last us for at least a month. I may have to start getting used to powered milk and eggs!
