# Resolved! Jojo the Cat is now a Monkey

He’s not exactly swingin’ on branches. But he came close.

Backstory:  
Jojo is a rescue. Lots of problems were fixed by the Vet. But he has lifelong issues from his previous feral days. Very few teeth, very few claws, missing toes and only half a tail.

Lately he’s determined to drive me insane and perhaps commit kitty suicide by climbing way high in trees and yowling til I bring canned people food. Cat goodies ain’t doing it.

Yeah, he’s playing me. I know this. He knows this. Even the Lil 'Shits know this. They cheer him on to get their own treats.

This morning was the fourth time in 2 weeks he’s been up a tree. He was way up and on a thinnish branch, just blowing in the wind. I just knew he was coming down the hard way.  
I got the sardines. And down he scooted. Happily munched his fishy treat with a smile on his face.

He’s not asking for bananas or throwing poop yet. He’s still a Monkey-cat. He’s evolved.

Maybe his tail will regrow. Or I could teach him sign language.

I should called zoologist and get him reclassified.

At least you know this!

Years ago, I knew some people who complained about their cat. Cat went up trees, claimed to be stuck. They used the tuna trick. Cat came down.

And, shortly after, cat went right back up tree and claimed to be stuck. Repeatedly. Why, they asked me in tones of frustration, does the cat do this? They genuinely seemed to have no idea.

– JoJo had a very hard early life. Probably he deserves some sardines, to help even things out.
