Wow. I had no idea. The only picture I looked at was the White House [portrait](http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/presidents/franklinpierce), which I actually hesitated over, then decided it was much too fey. But the photo was yummy. Who knew? ---

Cuz he is, in both senses, each of which informs the other, I think: he’s cool in the sense of being hip, smooth, sexy, and he’s cool in the sense of being incredibly stable in his emotional responses, both positive and negative, and for what it’s worth, that is a quality I very much appreciate in my President. The leader of the free world, with his hand on the button, is certainly someone you want to be calm and restrained in his reactions. ---

Why does it use a picture of George W. Bush as a young man, but show every single other president at the age he was actually serving?
