I’m thinking about taking a “foodies’ tour” to Barcelona in the coming few months, and I’d like to learn a bit of Catalan to enhance the experience (and perhaps to be able to read some of the cookbooks I’m sure to acquire). I do have one “Teach Yourself Catalan” book, and I’m slowly dragging through that. Alas, Rosetta Stone doesn’t have a Catalan course, and Berlitz is likely going to cost an arm and a leg.

Any other suggestions? I know at least one doper ( **Nava** ) is a speaker, but I’m wondering what resources might be available in the US.
