The letter has been mailed. My dad mailed it because I was lazy. Actually, I haven’t been lazy today. I practiced my clarinet and worked on a music arrangement. I’m impressed that some of the bakers here think far enough ahead to take the butter out of the fridge for a while before baking. I’m not as patient with butter, so I take it out of the fridge and melt it in the microwave before baking. I haven’t done much baking lately. I used to do more, because my theatre group had bake sales and when I worked at the community centre, I’d often do baking for events and such there. I’d like to try making brownies sometime. ---

I haven’t gotten anything done today. I did call my aunt with whom I have been playing phone tag. It looks like the sun is coming out. I pulled out the stuff to start my taxes, looked at it and put it back. I don’t know what my problem is, it’s not that hard or that complicated. I have all my records ready to go. My brain won’t focus on it. I need to order some things from Amazon as well and I go out and look at the list and think - maybe tomorrow. This is not like me, I’m usually on top of things. I feel like I am stuck on lazy. ---

No, the rodent was chewing on something foul, like a Venus Flytrap. Don’t you even understand what _you_ wrote? :smack: I’m not sure _why_ the rodent was chewing on that plant, possibly it was starving, though, more than likely, the rodent found it annoying & was just trying to get rid of it. I agree with the rodent if that’s the case as I find [del] **flytrap** [/del] a Venus flytrap annoying, too. :o ☹ ---

The Great Paper Chase of 2015 begins with a doctor’s fax machine that’s eternally busy… \ Aha! I still have that miraculous power over technology, even whe it’s on far side of the continent - speak ill of it, and it suddenly behaves and my fax goes through. Now to wait for them to pull records and get them back to us. Multiply this by all the doctors DH has seen in the past five years, and it’s a lot of faxing. ---

Laundry is done and put away, I made a salad with balsamic Parmesan vinaigrette.
