Supper was yum - salmon, twice baked N.O.T., broccoli, and raw shrooms with dressing. Oatmeal cookies for dessert. My tummy is happy. Itā€™s raining, sorta. But from the look of the weather radar, Iā€™m going to have to hose down the plants I fed today so the nutrients work down to the roots. So I guess thatā€™s tomorrowā€™s chore. All in all, a pretty good day here. ---

Howdy All! I have been having a hell of a time with me login and password for this board. I have reset it once again. I went today and had my hair did. Just dyed to cover my grays. I am back to brunette. I left irk early for hair appt so went by grocery and procured makings for beast stew. It was excellent. I also made cornbread which was perfect. My life is ok. Irk is all I do except commute back and forth to irk. We are now at the end of month which for me means a crap ton of EOM reports, inventory, credit card and fuel card statements, patron counts, and on and on. I sold a cruise on Royal Caribbean to Jamaica. Made $104 commission. I actually got my customers an excellent deal. Five nights in a balcony stateroom for a little over 1K. Seriously, customers could not stay in a hotel room w all food, entertainment, and destinations included for $100 per day each. I lurk and read always. Glad Spring is Sprunging for most of youse. I have been meaning to ask Dogiooo How much is a Splort? Congrats to Vunderboobio on new car! ---

Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ 'Tis 64 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 82 and sunny for the day. Of course da bear will be inside all day but still itā€™s nice to know the weatherā€™s good. I has a sad this morninā€™. A good friend and fellow Parishoner died yestiddy eveninā€™ at the age of 92. Heā€™d been in bad health for several years and well, was 92, so itā€™s not a shock just sad. When heā€™d come to menā€™s night over to the church house, I would grill his steak for him. He liked it well-done. I would grill it and say, ā€œHere ya go Arthur! One piece of shoe leather!ā€ It was our joke. Or, Iā€™d bring in the plate with the steak on it and heā€™d say, ā€œThereā€™s my shoe leather!ā€ He was a retired art professor and a fantastic artist. RIP Arthur. Another of my fatherā€™s generation gone. Now that Iā€™ve given yā€™all a downer, I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Oh well, only today and tomorrow to go! Happy Hump Day Yā€™all! ---

\*\*swampy \*\*- sorry about Arthur - even when one has had a long life, itā€™s still tough to lose such a friend. Iā€™m sure he can get shoe leather in heaven. šŸ˜‰ The evolution of April Fools Day is certainly interesting. My earliest memories include such gems as ā€œYour shoeā€™s untied!ā€ _\_ ā€œAPRIL FOOLS!!!ā€ Actually, I never really evolved past that stage - I canā€™t keep a straight face so I canā€™t pull off AF gags. And while I find some stunts that people pull to be rather clever, mostly I find the day stupid and annoying. So Iā€™ll be glad when itā€™s over. Todayā€™s supposed to be sunny, but not as warm as yesterday was. Iā€™m going to do some laundry and tackle a couple of the easier items on my to-do list. Itā€™s definitely not the day to be scrubbing the deck railing (the white vinyl is kinda green with grunge) but there are several outside lightbulbs that need to be replaced, and I think itā€™s safe to move my spider plants outside again. Productivity will ensue. Looking ahead, on Firday, Iā€™ll boil eggs, and on Sat, Iā€™ll dye the whites to festive Easter colors. I donā€™t have a proper egg tray - at least not yet. I have some in the kiln waiting to be fired - weā€™ll see how they work out. But till then, I have 2 elongated Tupperware containers (real Tupperware, not generic plastic) that will hold the eggs nicely. As if it really matters. Theyā€™ll be inhaled in short order. Looking a little less far ahead, tomorrow is **FCD** ā€™s payday, so I can turn around and send money to the people who hacked the hole in my skull. Dang medical billsā€¦ šŸ˜› Life, as always, is exciting at FairyChatEstates! Happy Wednesday! ---
