# Restaurant delivery expectations to a condo/apartment/hotel room?

That’s exactly my situation. During most of 2020 and half of 2021, my apartment building had a strict no visitors policy so deliveries were left in the lobby, and the doorman enforced it. Now, they tell the delivery person to bring it up to the apartment but some delivery drivers run in, drop the food on a table in the lobby and run, especially if they see the door person is preoccupied with something
