Earlier today for some reason the bar name “Thirsty’s” crossed my mind, but I couldn’t remember what show it was from (I googled–[it was _George Lopez_](https://georgelopez.fandom.com/wiki/Thirsty%27s_Bar).) So then I started thinking of other resturants/bars/clubs mentioned a few times on TV shows (but not necessarily central to the series like Cheers and Central Perk.) A few stuck in my memory: Mason’s Dixieline Bar – _In the Heat of the Night_ The Bigger Jigger – _Mama’s Family_ Sugarfoot’s – _King of the Hill_ Angelino’s – _Three’s Company_ I could list a few more, but let’s see what this kicks off. ---

Doug’s Place, _Days of our Lives_. It does remarkably well for a nicer place with very few patrons. (Whatever you do, don’t try singing _The Ballad of Davy Crockett_ there on karaoke night. Just sayin’.) ---
