Good Lord. Chili (of any kind) and pasta have no natural relationship. It’s cats and dogs sleeping together!

I lived in WI for several years and never heard of this. People like this? Gah.

**The Tasty** was a central landmark of Harvard Square, beloved of students, faculty and locals alike. The atmosphere, combined with the fact that it was the only 24-hour restaurant around, kept it alive far longer than the food did, as I can’t recall ever hearing of anyone eating there in the daytime.

[Beth’s Cafe](http://www.bethscafe.com/index.html). I fuckin’ love the atmosphere, but the food is nothing to write home about. On the other hand, where else can you get a 12-egg omelette at three in the morning?

Dude, you’ve never heard of the wonderous [Skyline Chili](http://www.skylinechili.com)? And I grew up serving chili over pasta–we called it “Cowboy Spaghetti” at my house, years before I had ever heard of Skyline Chili and Cincinatti’s chili-over-spaghetti tradition.
