Yes, I did read the [rules](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=508858) about restricted language in the Pit. Yes, I know that you’re not allowed to call other posters really nasty names (and I wasn’t planning on doing that). But I was wondering if it’d be okay to use the C word if it was just a general expression of anger, and not directed at any person (board member or not.) ---

I thought the C word was in a class by itself… did that change in the recent attempt to treat male and female posters equally? ---

I’m trying to figure out how to apply that word in an insulting manner to an inanimate object. I can’t imagine using it as a verb or adverb. ---

Okay, I’ll admit what I was thinking when I wrote the OP. I was wondering, if, someday, in a fit of utter rage, I would angrily post whatever my rant was in the Pit, and rattle off George Carlin’s list of Seven Dirty Words to express my anger. (Possibly spoilered for the more easily offended.) Like I said, it wouldn’t be against anyone ---
