If I resubscribe, will my address be used for _anything_, _ever_? I can deal with mail-spam (really), but ever receiving anything from the SDMB in the mail is a big no-no because I live in a household where the Dope is prohibited. ---

Maybe I did and just don’t remember. In any case, I’ve never received any correspondence other than email in the 4 years since I’ve been a member. ---

I’m just curious, why exactly is the Dope prohibited in your house? Fighting against the fight against ignorance? ---

We will not be sending you anything in snail mail. We rarely use blanket emails to our membership, we have done this a time or two in the past to remind people to resubscribe, but this only went out to members who had not resubscribed, so if you resubscribe promptly, you won’t even see an email.
