# Retirement Planning and Trust Issues -- Advice Needed

We thought about that, and rejected it, thank Og.

The one we got is the Eaton Vance Tax Div Fund (EVT). We bought it in 2/03, and since then it has gone up about 40% and is paying 6.57%, as of the end of last year, which is the statement I grabbed. We were lucky about the appreciation - it’s not meant to zoom up. We have another one, a Franklin, that is paying 5.5% and has gone down about 2% in the year we had it. I assume all this stuff is lower now.

And now that I think of it, we dumped the apartment stock the last time we rebalanced. As I get older, I less and less want individual stock.
