# Retiring to India

There are many places in India, where one can retire on modest budget. Goa is a winter vacation spot with nice beaches, mostly rain free from sept to May, 100 km stretch with 30 odd beaches, friendly locals, wide variety of foods and fruits. $1,000/ month will be enough.
