well Brady refused to turn over his text messages. And I guess they were not able to get them from the phone company. Or maybe they did not try that route. So it seems that these guys turned over their own text messages ---

Why did Brady suddenly start talking to these 2 guys after the story broke? Did he suddenly realize he forgot to give them gifts ? ---

Would you want your employer to be able to get your text messages on a personal phone for a non-legal proceeding? This isn’t a legal proceeding it’s an investigation under internal rules. The agreements various employees sign may provide a route to coerce. Brady under the Player’s Association may well have different contractual obligations than the equipment folks. ---

Vegas has pulled the line for the first game of the year, which leads to the natural conclusion that Brady will be suspended for his overt lying and total lack of cooperation. The gamblers are usually right about that sort of thing. Stay tuned. ---

It leads to the natural conclusion that Vegas thinks something \*might \*happen. It would be, um, \*disappointing \*if the Commissioner’s office told them _first_. The report does not accuse Brady of what you say it does, btw. So you know. ---

Sure, it didn’t make a difference against the Colts. What if they did it the week before against the Ravens, though. It could have affected the outcome there (although not as much as the nonexistent Ravens defensive backfield did). ---

Massive $10,000 fine (with proceeds going to buy air pumps for balls in Africa), some equipment manager thrown under the bus, plausible deniability (which was always the case) for Brady & Belichek. And mandatory testing of balls, which Joe Buck will narrate. ---
