# "Revenge" spam. What. The fuck??!?

One of my various e-mail addresses I’ve had for many, many years. It’s also the “pure form” of a word - “Bob” instead of “Bob12345” or “alligator” instead of “allEg8tor,” you see. I get more e-mail from people sending to the wrong address than spam for that account - it’s quite amazing. And the random IM’s I get - hoo, boy! 🙂

Then again, maybe he’s actually the cleverest travel agent in the world, and you’re just not falling for it… he’s trying to get you to book passage to all these exotic places, see…?

**jjimm,** have you seen Eraser? Maybe this person is offering a reverse-erasing. Say, for example, here’s $20,000 to recover the money you lost to that one bank problem you had; here’s another $40k to repay the money you spent on college; here’s some to replace that Ford you totalled back in 1987…

Well, apparently my school email address was previously owned by a Korean perv named Christopher, because my inbox gets about 40 spams a DAY, all in Korean, and almost all of it porn! Yay Christopher, asshat. It’s at the point where I’m VERY seriously debating the merits of asking for a different address.
