A sailor attempts to win heart of his beloved. Just when she is at the verge of devoting herself to him, a rival mariner with the biggest forearms you’ve ever seen eats a salad, clobbers our hero, and makes off with the lady, who obviously suffers from Stockholm Syndrome. ---

The irresponsible son of an important leader runs away following the leader’s death, forcing the leader’s brother to take over the family business. Years later, an childhood friend of the son abandons her responsibilities. During her flight from home she happens upon her old friend and helps to convince him to return with her and usurp his uncle’s position. ---
