Nothing could be better for liberalism and the Democratic Party than getting a sufficient number of anti-abortion conservatives in the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade. Then the battle goes to the states, and the red states will outlaw abortion, and suddenly, very suddenly, a lot of parents of teen daughters in red states are gonna turn blue. Very blue. And this country will move so far to the left so fast that Cuba will have to scramble to keep up.

WTF? Frist Flip-Flops, Pushes Another Bolton Vote:

Reversing field after a meeting with President Bush, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said he will continue pushing for a floor vote on John R. Bolton for U.N. ambassador. Frist switched his position after initially saying Tuesday that negotiations with Democrats to get a vote on Bolton had been exhausted.

State Dept. Now Says Bolton Interviewed

Bolton was interviewed by the State Department inspector general in 2003 as part of a joint investigation with the
Central Intelligence Agency into prewar Iraqi attempts to buy nuclear materials from Niger, State Department spokesman Noel Clay said.

The admission came hours after another State Department official said Bolton had correctly answered a Senate questionnaire when he wrote that he has not testified to a grand jury or been interviewed by investigators in any inquiry over the past five years.

Of course the busy man just forgot about the uranium forgery investigation.
Does anyone think this’ll affect Bolton’s recess appointment to the UN?
