I got some parody comic magazine in the late 70’s that actually had a story titled “Casper the Dead Little Boy” (something makes me want to say it was actually “the Dead Baby” but I’m sure that they would not have gotten away with that back then plus Casper was definitely older than a baby, tho wasn’t there a Baby Ghost in the Comic later on?)- ANYWAY… it was about little happy honest Casper & his criminal parents & when he spoils one of their evil plans, his Dad kills him- noting that Dad is gonna cut off his ridiculous ears _CTFG is earless_ Of course, it does end happily with Casper getting his revenge from beyond the grave by popping into his parents car, scaring them & causing them to go over a cliff. RE Wendy-not all Wiccans practice skyclad. Anyway, that might not be her Trad anyway. ---

I’m pretty sure I saw something called “Casper the Dead Baby” many years ago as child. I would have thought it was ‘Mad’, ‘Cracked’, or possibly ‘Crazy’. Actually, it probably was ‘Crazy’. ---

It was definitely “Crazy”, and I believe it was the mid 70s–around 1974 IIRC. I used to have the original issue as a kid. ---

[barely related] Same parody of RR mentioned earlier. There were ‘letters to Richie from readers’ at the end of the comic. One of which was, “Is Casper really you when you die?” signed some kid, age 8 (or something to that effect.) The answer: “No, Casper is **you** , when you die. Now shut your pie hole, or you’ll be wearing a sheet by the end of the day.” [/barely related] ---

I almost brought it up earilier. It was Caspar (or maybe Gaspar) the dead baby, from Crazy magazine. Caspar relates in a flashback to Wendy how he became a ghost…he and his mother were killed by his dad in a domestic violence episode (which also explains why he has no hair or ears; I’ll leave it to your imagination). Wendy convinces him to take revenge. Gruesome and appaling, drawn exactly like an old Caspar comic book. Yet hilarious. I wish I still had that one. ---

Also, why did they need Iona the robot maid?? Alfred didn’t need a maid!! Cadbury ruled! He should have quit the instant the maid was created, and go on a trip around the world and write his memoir. ---
