As was pointed out elsewhere, this is not this Rick’s original body. He mind swapped a bunch and ended up in a high level Rick body, which might explain all the implants. ---

If you thought the Warp Jump sequence was trippy then I suggest checking out _Superjail_ - it’s a lot more violent, though… ---

Those tech support guys that lived inside the transmogrifier were pretty funny. Especially the end scene. ---

Well, this week’s episode was another real downer. I felt sorry for Morty when Regular Rick re-injected his toxic side into him. Funny how the detoxification had opposite effects on them - Morty became hyper-competent, while Rick became laid back and overly emotional. Highlights: - Rick and Morty’s emotional breakdown in the cold open - “Uhh… dads?” - The toxic world where everyone at the church started having sex, everyone in Saladworks ran into Sbarro, and the person in Sbarro started eating out of the dumpster - “Crudite” pronounced in the same incorrect way I always say it for laughs - Rick’s drones turning into a tiny Voltron - The “Terry Flaps” song, which there is [a full-length version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h7NYfpCOjo) of and which I swear is my new earworm ---

He didn’t hang up, giving Rick time to trace the call. When they went through the de-toxifier, Rick became more like Morty, and Morty became more like Rick. There’s something to be drawn from that, but it’s too late for me to brain that much. ---

Not my favorite episode, although I liked the before-and-after on SludgeWorld (“God is dead!” “Uh… God is NOT dead”). And it’s not every high school kid who gets a medal from an alien princess, a successful Wall Street career, a Manhattan penthouse suite and a hot girlfriend. ---

See, to me, you maybe shouldn’t put that second part after a “plus”, there: since it’s hyper-competent Morty, it makes sense that he doesn’t look surprised or upset. When he was upbeat and positive while trying to chat with Jennifer at that restaurant, she eventually explained why she’s ending the date and he – took it as well as possible, showing no surprise and looking not even a bit upset before moving on to the next stage of his life, right? He doesn’t panic, or make a futile try at stopping what was obviously playing out; he just went with it. Now, for all I know he realized Rick was inevitably going to find him – after all, we’re talking about _Rick Sanchez_ here, he can pretty much do whatever he wants whenever he feels like it – but put that aside for a moment: he’s a Morty who literally can’t lie, right?
