# Rick Neuheisel as gotten himself into hotwater once again. What a schmuck.

Rick Neuheisel has once again [put his job in jeopardy](http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/134908138_neuheisel05.html) as head coach of the UW Huskies after betting on college basketball games which is a serious violation of NCAA rules. You add into the mix that this guy has commited dozens of recruting violations and [publicly lied about](http://archives.seattletimes.nwsource.com/cgi-bin/texis.cgi/web/vortex/display?slug=rick13&date=20030213&query=Neuheisel+lied+about+Coaching+Job) interviewing for another headcoaching position and this is one guy that seriously needs to get canned. And fast. As a Huskies fan my patience for this guy has run out.

I meant “has gotten himself into hot water once again.” And has commited “recruiting” violations. Damn the inability to edit your own posts! :smack:

Isn’t this the same guy who founded that whacked out religious organization, the Promise Keepers? And the same guy who won a game in his national title year only because the refs gave him 5 downs on their last drive of the game?

No, you are thinking of his predecessor at Colorado, Bill McCartney.
