Before **Amazing Gro-Monster’s** page had loaded, I was saying, “Ahh! Stop! You’re! Giving! Me! A! Seizure!” **ianzin’s** gets special bonus points for having each page’s entire content in one big image. I dunno, **minlokwat** , the _content_ is surely tacky, but the _design_ isn’t too bad–except for that surgical-green background, though that strikes me as more inappropriately utilitarian than _tacky_, per se. **Guin** , my browser could not properly digest most of the pages you linked to but that in itself has got to add tackiness points. What I _did_ see, I found tacky. Bravo! I especially like the one who said over and over “DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE THESE I WORKED REALLY HARD COLLECTING THEM” Nothing urges compliance like a run-on sentence in all caps. However, I feel compelled to copy and redistribute her stuff anyway, since she did not follow this sentence with fifteen exclamation points, and everyone knows that without exclamation points, you’re not _really_ serious. Who made her the boss of cartoon dolls anyway? Hrmph. Also, one of those sites tricked me into clicking on ad that popped up a gazillion windows, including one of those with the title bar off the top of the screen (I hate that). Hey, I was looking at a page of mutilated HTML coding with a cutesy pink animated background, and a graphic at the top that says, “Click to Enter!” It’s not _really_ deceptive advertising, 'cause they didn’t say _what_ you’d be entering. I have only myself, and the relentless tackiness of free webpages, to blame. Your images worked fine, though, **Guinastasia** though I confess that I remain Unclear on the Concept. I can find pages on _how_ to make them, but they are all silent on the subject of _why on earth you would want to._ 🙂 No offense. I’m just confused. And somewhat girly-impaired, so it might not make sense to me even after you explain it. **cazzle** , I like. I was wondering, what are those lame spider graphics for? Is it a Halloween theme? Then I realized, the world wide WEB. Spiders live on WEBS! Just like computers! Ah! So very clever! So clever, in fact, that it was done to DEATH in the EARLY NINTIES, and no one has been lame enough to associate spiders with the Web since then. Mmmm, moist and tacky. I’m reminded of another long-time fave of mine, from the “ridiculously unprofessional, and completely lacking any color scheme” category: [link deleted–TVeblen] They bought a domain name, and actually _paid_ for a sponsored link on Google, and it’s almost impossible to figure out what they’re about, or to find the information they promise to provide–but they have lots of cheesy images, so I guess that justifies a web presence! ---
