Just saw this today. It looks like a takeoff on Tosh 2.0. The clips are good, the host, not so much. I’ve never appreciated Tosh so much. I guess that job is not as easy as he makes it look. ---

Daniel has mentioned it in his show and during his [stand up.](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xji9RoOo21Q) Yeah, Rediculousness is the same show…and not very good. If IIRC, the Ridiculousness guys even mentioned on their show that it was basically the same thing. Don’t forget that Daniel is a real comedian (a really good one to boot) so that helps his show quite a bit. If you’re not going to watch Tosh.0 you might as well just stick with Ebaumsworld, get more videos and skip the commentary. “If everything thinks you suck, they’re not haters, they’re right” I’ll have to remember that. ---

I haven’t seen it yet but Web Soup also does the same thing, and I think every modern incarnation of Americas Funniest Home Videos probably does now too. And there was some earlier incarnation on VH1 I believe. And Talk Soup covers similar territory. No problem. There’s room in this world for more than one Internet video show, and Tosh is only a variation on an already existing theme. ---

Just watched this today. Of all the weak points, the blonde is weakest. Not that cute IMHO, apparently unable to come up with a clever comment, and her laugh is annoying. And being weaker than the host (Rob?) is quite an accomplishment, because he’d be the weakest link of any other show that he was on. ---

The thing about Tosh.0 is his style of commentary. It’s just, better (IMHO). Also, Tosh.0 is so huge that even though there were shows before him he’s been able to claim the genre as his own. People forget about the ones that came first, and the ones that come after him are considered to be copying him. Much like Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Dracula wasn’t the first vampire, it was just the first popular one. ---

Tosh loves the drunk/gross out videos, and Rob is more the extreme sports clips. His guests are primarily extreme sports stars (and he is a professional skateboarder… not a comic by trade). He also has a huge following among younger viewers (Rob and Big, Fantasy Factory) and my two teen sons can’t seem to get enough of him. Also, from what I’ve seen he is a pretty good guy who gives a lot back to the community. Don’t know if Tosh does too, I’ve just heard much more about Dyrdek… building skate parks and such. Tosh is more R rated and Rob is more PG. ---

Ridiculousness always looks like an SML parody to me. The host’s weird speaking style, the goofy over-stylized guests, the big keyboard on the floor, and the awkward product placement for Bing just all look kind of laughable when put together. The show I miss is MTV’s “Scarred.” That focused on really gruesome skate and bike injuries and how the people involved recovered. ---
