I had my first of four range sessions to qualify to carry the rifle on duty yesterday. I can still shoot quite well with iron sights. No trouble zeroing or with any of the drills. No long distance shooting though. I am going to look into a gooseneck mount for a red dot sight moving forward. Thanks for the replies
Don’t skimp on the gooseneck. We always talk about not cheaping out on glass, but I have seen more problems that came from cheaping out on mounts.
