Not easy to stop being homeless once all your resources are drained. not all undocumented workers had a choice in coming to America, about a million of them were dragged here by their parents. Sanctuary cities are only “lawless” against a single specific set of laws Black Lives Matter - you got me here. It turns out that police are shooting white people wrongfully about as often as they shoot black people. I agree that the phrase is divisive, all races should be concerned about police homicidal violence and action should be taken. Remember separation of Church and State? A large percent of America are no longer christian and we agnostics and atheists, who are eventually going to be the majority, would rather you kept your religious mumbo jumbo to yourself. cripples/handicapped/disabled - I’ll sort of go with you there. ---

It makes for better communication across cultures, esp in academic papers etc. There’s still Christmas trees. Why do you want to forbid “Holiday Trees”? I honestly can’t see the relationship in bettering and more accurately representing people and denying science and facts. Plus some of the things you listed aren’t true. Who is forced to say BLM? Do you honestly believe calling a cripple disabled or a bum homeless is “fighting dirty”? Or the White House actually banning perfectly appropriate words is on the came level? ---

**Moderating** This is a subject matter more suitable for Great Debates. Unfortunately, the level of discourse has gone so far off the rails at this point, I don’t think moving it would help anything. We already have a Pit thread going on the same subject.
