I never can understand the attraction so many people have to stuffing their pockets. All you get is unsightly lumps and bulges, worn spots, and spinal problems. Right now, I’ve got three coins in one front pocket and a thin wallet in the other front pocket. In the wallet is a drivers license, ATM card, train ticket, my health insurance ID card and an associated credit card for “health” purchases, a Costco card and three pieces of paper money. Just the bare essentials. The part I really can’t understand is carrying around all of those grocery store cards. Almost all of them work off your phone number - if you can remember your phone number, you can punch that into the terminal and take one more thing out of your pocket. ---

Since we’re counting coat pockets, I currently have a pair of mittens and a bus schedule also in my pockets. And since I did some rearranging since my last post, I also have lipstick in my left front jeans pocket. ---
