I like buying jewelry from Novica, as I tend to like more exotic accesories. Here’s their ring page: http://jewelry.novica.com/rings/
Actually, a Tsavorite garnet is much more durable than an emerald. It may scratch a little more easily but it’s much less likely to crack.
Tsavorites also can be had with a natural grass green color - lower-end emeralds often have tones of blue.
I remember one Christmas, when I thought my later-to-be-husband had put a ring box under the tree as a gift for me. I picked that box up a lot of times, trying to guess what else it could be, if not an engagement ring. When the big day came and I opened the box, I found a stick shift knob with my car’s logo on top.
It was hard to hide the disappointment.
Not this one. It’s not a well-made ring.
Oh? How can you tell?
It’s cast, not hand-made. The setting looks as if it would wear easily. Also (IMHO), the illusion setting around the diamond makes it looks a bit cheap.
thanks, I really don’t know what to look for in these.
