He’s mentioned having bad depression in the past so hopefully it wasn’t anything to do with that. Hopefully he went in his sleep and there was no pain or sadness. He was a swell guy. ☹ ---

I didn’t know him much outside of the game room, but I really enjoyed the interchanges between him and I (as Nail and Goethe respectively) in the Shadowrun campaign Mosier was running. My regrets to his family and others who knew him. ---

I’m so, so sorry to hear about this. Not that my experience necessarily has any bearing on this situation, but something similar happened to a good friend of mine in college. He developed an inoperable brain tumor and never told anybody about it. It \*really \*hit me (well, all of us) hard when he went. Maybe something similar was going on here. ---

**Autolycus** RIP. I’m mostly a lurker and never interacted with him, but I appreciated his posts. He was one of the gems of the SDMB. ---

Rest in Peace. I don’t recall any specific interactions with Autolycus but I certainly recognize the name, and the sentiments put forth here are a testament to the person he was. Condolences to his family and friends. ---

Damn it. A poster I recognize well. I am sure we probably argued about some things at some point. I am also sure we probably had plenty of posts where one or the other or both of us enjoyed the interaction whether it be humor, useful information, or insight. Another damn good one gone. My condolences to friends and family and fellow Dopers who knew him well. A nice guy indeed. ---
