Thanks for thinking about me. I have been going through a few health issues, nothing too serious, but every little thing is magnified because of my condition. Mrs. Blinkie did fracture my leg, hairline, driving my wheelchair and I won’t let her forget it. I tease her relentlessly and threaten to call Family Services on her. My grandson, 6 years old with my sense of humor says, “Don’t worry grandpa, you don’t need your leg, you don’t walk anyway.” ---

Wow, this is the first time I’ve seen this thread and I’m blown away. Blinkie, you’re an inspiration. Thanks for being courageous and caring enough to let others have a peak inside your life to gain better understanding. Every time one person opens their life like this it helps those of us who care to gain greater compassion and understanding of the things that go on around us all. It makes us all better people.
