# RIP Butch Trucks

I’m surprised I haven’t seen a thread about this.

Butch Trucks, founding member and longtime drummer for the Allman Brothers Band, died Tuesday at age 69.

The Allmans are possibly the best American band ever.

Trucks really should not have had the bad luck to die the same day as Mary Tyler Moore.

Oh no - really? I have no context so don’t know if such an act would be driven by events, by illness, by longstanding depression or other issues.
