Hollywood legend Gregory Peck[has passed away](http://www.msnbc.com/news/925788.asp?cp1=1) at the age of 87. This is a sad day for the entire world. We were blessed with his wit and charm on the big screen for decades. He will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace. I know he has moved on to a better place. ☹

Sorry guys. There is already a [thread about this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=190402) in MPSIMS. I have asked a mod to close this thread. Please let this thread sink like a stone.

There are two other relevant Cafe Society threads [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=190340) and [here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=190352).

Gregory Peck’s death is neither Mundane nor Pointless. I think the mods should transfer the MPSIMS thread here to CS.
